During a special two-day fundraising event, Crew Carwash provided a free Ultimate Wash (a $22 value), with any donation to Animal Humane Society. The event took place on Friday, October 11, through Saturday, October 12, at all four Minnesota locations including St. Cloud, Maple Grove, Wayzata and West St. Paul. Crew graciously accepted cash and credit donations, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Animal Humane Society. Donations from the St. Cloud location will benefit Tri-County Humane Society.

Thanks to the generosity of the Minnesota communities, the initiative resulted in a total of $22,083 to be donated to Animal Humane Society.

“Thank you to Crew Carwash for selecting AHS as the beneficiary of the two-day fundraiser,” said Krista Gallagher Colt, AHS Director of Philanthropy. “With the funds raised, AHS is able to provide direct care and services to help thousands of animals in need across Minnesota.”

AHS will use these funds to support their efforts to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. As part of its Crew for Kids fundraiser, Crew committed to donating 50 percent of the proceeds from all Ultimate Washes sold to Big Brothers Big Sisters, along with all cash and credit donations. The event took place Saturday, July 27, at all 48 Crew Carwash locations throughout Indiana and Minnesota.

With the help of the community, Crew for Kids raised $201,786 in total for Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Indiana and Minnesota. In total, the company has raised more than $1,200,000 for the nonprofit since its inaugural Crew for Kids fundraiser in 2010.

With the funds raised, Big Brothers Big Sisters will be able to create and support more than 90 new matches this year in the communities they serve. Since 2010, several hundred “Littles” have benefited from a mentor because of the Crew for Kids event.
